So it is no wonder that they got this into the pipeline now and no, it may not be the PS4 but rather another service coming to the PS3 in upcoming years. Remember, Sony is on a 10 year life plan fo rthe PS3 and this would definitely help them keep that edge.
Wait and see mode right now. If they can truly pull this one off and have it work, I will be one of the first to plunk down my cash, especially if it is a reasonable price. The idea of this makes me a happy camper, now I just wait for the results.
Then you know why it won't ever come to the Xbox 360.
As for E3, can't wait to hear what's coming next from one of my all time favorite developers.
It is in reference to their proprietary Game Engine. Since everybody's engines work differently, some will look better than others despite how much power they claim to use.
Is that there were paeople that actually clicke "agree" with the April Fools comment... Correct me if I am wrong but isn't March 31st still... March?
Until tomorrow to release a press statement on the day they said they were going to make the announcement... Tomorrow.
In the end though, you are right, we should not get our hopes up.
What does that make the PS3?
Um... new hardware?
Just saying.
Gaming online is gaming online and no matter what chat options you have it's all the same in the end. If you took the best of the best on Live and the same on PSN it would be a pretty tight match up. Gamers online will learn the same technique no matter the platform, at least with consoles. Now PC, that is a different story IMHO.
Not that they were poor, they were just lackluster. Also, the drop in frame rate when you were in heavy combat got annoying. Maybe in Fable 3 they could cut back on dialog and add enhancement elsewhere... Unless of course the next Xbox goes to Blu-Ray.
If they are going the route of action adventure and getting away from Horror Survival then just add run and gun. If they want to perfect the game, make it scary again and add the same controls as Dead Space or even Siren. I was not a huge fan of Siren's controls but the concept of using the controls restrictions to add to the scare factor made the game very interesting.
Sorry, but to exclude the new R&C game, the Leaked Uncharted 2 Footage and the fact that the definitive version of NG2 will be released soon on the PS3 is complete failure.
He spews much hate for MGS4 in a MGS Touch review making his sentiment and journalism give you a sense of nausea. Keep from reading this dribble if you wish to refrain from having an involuntary protein spill. I wish I would have, my keyboard stinks now.
I must admit, owning both consoles that the PS3 sure does have the best looking line up of upcoming titles this year. I don't just mean game that look appealing, I mean games that make me cry tears of joy when I see just how beautiful they are.
But to those of us that venture to read this site, it is all to obvious that GT5 or any GT for that matter will never see the light of day on any other brand console. It's interesting too, I have waited so long for this title that I have cleared it from my anticipation list. I will get it when it hits the store shelves. I just cannot keep anticipating the title any longer. It's a day one purchase for me but it was just getting too painful desiring this game. lol
Anybody that falls for some story a bout Sony contacting Kotaku first on any important news is only playing the fool. After a couple solid years of Kotaku hating on Sony, they cannot be trusted, PERIOD.
Are there a few Xbox fanboys that seem to be upset at the slick titles coming to the PS3 this year? People need to stop getting upset that Sony is having a great year in terms of new releases and just go buy a PS3 and enjoy.
The Huxley we were led to believe was coming is no longer. Now we just have another shooter, with a twist.
"Huxley is one part MMO, one part FPS" - and two parts vaporware. The original Huxley that is.
Be a nod to the COD:WaW Zombie mode? It now has a teddy bear in the box that makes the box disappear. Maybe there will be a "horde" mode in Modern Warfare 2?
Not necessarily true. We are talking about two completely different platforms and two different teams. The team working with Sigma 2 made Sigma look awesome a while back. I think that they have an understanding of the hardware and know how to push it and make it look better. I don't think time has much to do with it, or at least not as much as you might think.
Feel that Dead Space wins the list over but in the end, to omit the RE1 remake on the GameCube seems to me to be a sin.
